Climate change is increasing rapidly due to excessive carbon emissions caused by daily human activities such as transportation, electricity usage, and lifestyle habits. Most people are unaware of how much carbon they emit and how their actions affect the environment. Existing systems mainly calculate carbon emissions but do not provide real-time comparison, motivation, or enforce actions to reduce emissions. Therefore, there is a need to develop a Carbon Footprint Tracker System that can monitor users’ carbon emissions, compare their performance with other users, and encourage them to reduce emissions. If the emission exceeds the defined limit, the system will suggest corrective actions such as tree plantation to offset the excess carbon. This will help increase environmental awareness, promote sustainable behavior, and contribute to reducing overall carbon emissions.
