Problem Statement

In rural India, small and marginal farmers struggle to access reliable crop disease advisory due to poor internet connectivity, low digital literacy, and dependence on local pesticide sellers. Existing agri-tech applications assume stable internet, mandatory image uploads, and text-based interaction, making them unusable for low-end smartphones and low-connectivity regions. As a result, farmers often use incorrect pesticides, leading to crop loss, financial damage, and reduced trust in digital agricultural solutions. There is a need for a voice-first, offline-capable advisory system that works reliably on low-end devices and activates advanced image-based diagnosis only when connectivity is available.
