Problem Statement

The increasing use of online job portals and social media platforms for recruitment has led to a rise in fraudulent job postings. These fake listings often mislead job seekers by offering unrealistic salaries, requesting upfront payments, or collecting sensitive personal information. Job seekers, especially fresh graduates and inexperienced candidates, find it difficult to differentiate between legitimate and fake opportunities. Current detection methods rely heavily on manual moderation, which is time-consuming, inconsistent, and not scalable. There is a need for an intelligent system that can automatically analyze job postings and identify potential fraud by detecting suspicious patterns, misleading language, and anomalies in the content.
