Problem Statement

Finding trustworthy home repair and maintenance professionals such as electricians, plumbers, and handymen remains a significant challenge in urban and semi-urban areas. Most households still rely on informal networks, local shops, or word-of-mouth recommendations, which leads to inconsistent service quality, delays, and lack of accountability. Users often spend considerable time contacting multiple providers, coordinating schedules, and negotiating pricing, with no reliable way to verify credibility or track service history. This fragmented process becomes even more problematic in urgent situations where quick and dependable repairs are essential. At the same time, local service professionals struggle with limited visibility and inconsistent demand due to the absence of a structured and transparent system that connects them with potential customers. Overall, the lack of an organized and trustworthy framework for accessing home repair services creates inefficiencies, reduces productivity, and affects both households and local service providers.
