Problem Statement

The rapid increase of satellites and orbital debris around Earth has created a high-risk space environment where potential collisions and space weather disturbances can severely impact communication systems, navigation services, and power infrastructure. Currently, relevant information exists in fragmented, technical, and non-integrated sources, making real-time awareness, risk understanding, and early prediction difficult for researchers, organizations, and decision-makers. There is a need for an accessible system that can monitor orbital hazards and utilize raw space weather data to provide timely situational awareness and predictive alerts to reduce risks and improve preparedness against both orbital collisions and geomagnetic disturbances.
