Problem Statement

EverSite In times of natural disasters, infrastructure failures, war, or large-scale internet outages, traditional communication and information systems often fail, leaving affected communities isolated and without access to critical knowledge, navigation, or emergency support. Current solutions, such as centralized servers or online applications, depend entirely on internet connectivity and functioning infrastructure, making them unreliable during crises. There is a pressing need for a resilient, offline-capable platform that allows users to communicate, share essential data, access emergency knowledge, navigate safely, and store critical documents securely, even when the internet, servers, or networks are unavailable. EverSite addresses this gap by combining offline-first web technologies, peer-to-peer networking, decentralized storage (IPFS), blockchain-based authentication and encryption, offline maps, curated knowledge bases, and an AI-assisted emergency guide. The platform ensures that affected individuals and communities can connect, collaborate, and survive despite infrastructure collapse, providing a self-sustaining digital lifeline during emergencies.
