**Project Title: CyberShield AI — Intelligent Phishing Detection Agent** **Problem Statement** Phishing attacks and fraudulent digital messages are increasingly used to trick people into revealing passwords, OTPs, banking details, and other sensitive information. Many users struggle to identify suspicious messages and malicious-looking URLs because they lack technical knowledge and may not recognise common warning signs. Existing basic detection methods can miss context-dependent threats, while AI chatbots may provide explanations without verifying the available evidence. CyberShield AI aims to address this problem through an AI-powered cybersecurity assistant that analyses user-submitted messages and URLs, identifies potential phishing indicators, explains its findings in simple language, and recommends appropriate safety measures. The system will combine rule-based checks with AI-generated analysis to provide understandable, evidence-based risk assessments. It will communicate uncertainty, avoid claiming that unverified links are safe, and help users make more informed decisions before interacting with suspicious content. **Objective:** To develop a practical, beginner-friendly AI agent that improves phishing awareness and supports safer digital behaviour through explainable analysis and responsible AI.
