Highway accidents can become more dangerous when they are detected late, emergency responders lack accurate information, or approaching vehicles are not warned in time. Current road-monitoring systems often focus on detecting an incident, but do not provide a complete, intelligent response workflow. We aim to build an AI-powered Road Safety & Emergency Response System that combines CCTV cameras and vehicle sensors to verify accidents, estimate their severity, identify the exact location, generate an intelligent emergency-response recommendation, and warn nearby road users to help prevent secondary accidents.
