HackIndia × Appinventiv AI Hackathon 2026 is a high-intensity 24-hour AI innovation sprint bringing together the brightest student developers, engineers, and problem-solvers for a structured, competitive build experience.
This is not a casual hackathon. Every team is pre-qualified. Every round is evaluated. Only the best make it to the Grand Finale.
How It Works
The competition runs in two phases:
Pre-Hackathon (Online)
Teams submit project proposals before the event. All submissions are reviewed and the top 60 teams are shortlisted for the on-ground hackathon. This qualification layer ensures a competitive floor from day one.
Each team must have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 members.
On-Ground (24 Hours — 3 Rounds)
Round 1 — Solution Architecture: All 60 shortlisted teams present their approach to floor judges.
Round 2 — Build Sprint: Teams build and demo a working prototype. Code freeze at Hour 20.
Round 3 — Grand Finale: Top 10 teams by cumulative score pitch to a final expert jury.
Keynote
Day 1 features a keynote address by Mr. Sudeep Srivastava, Co-founder and CEO of Appinventiv.
AI Track Details
The AI track accommodates approximately 60 shortlisted teams (160 to 180 participants). Tracks will be announced shortly.
Judging Panel
8 to 9 judges on ground across all rounds including judges from Appinventiv's product and technology teams and HackIndia's evaluation team.
