Problem Statement — ResQ Modern software applications can fail because of incorrect user actions, configuration changes, dependency issues, unexpected system behavior, or other runtime problems. Most existing systems are reactive—they detect a problem only after it has already occurred and then show an error message or expect the user/developer to find a solution. This creates a major gap: users are often warned too late, do not understand why the problem happened, and may not know how to recover safely. There is a need for an intelligent software safety system that can predict potential risks before a critical action is performed, provide meaningful warnings, detect failures when they occur, identify their probable cause, guide the user through recovery, and verify that the system has returned to a healthy state. ResQ aims to address this gap by providing an AI/ML-powered, user-centric safety and recovery platform that follows: Predict → Prevent → Detect → Diagnose → Recover → Verify The goal is to transform software safety from “something went wrong, now fix it” into “understand the risk, prevent it if possible, and safely recover if something still goes wrong.”
