Groundwater is a major source of drinking water, agriculture, and industrial supply, but its availability changes continuously due to rainfall, groundwater extraction, seasonal variations, and recharge. Existing groundwater monitoring systems collect large volumes of Digital Water Level Recorder (DWLR) data, but converting these high-frequency observations into timely and meaningful information about groundwater availability, depletion, recharge, and resource status remains challenging. Most conventional groundwater-resource assessments rely on periodic analysis and historical datasets. This can make it difficult to identify rapid groundwater-level declines, abnormal fluctuations, recharge events, and emerging groundwater stress at an early stage. Therefore, there is a need for a technical real-time groundwater evaluation system that can process continuous DWLR data, detect abnormal changes, analyze groundwater trends, estimate recharge/ storage changes, and pre ide an understandable groundwater-risk statu early warning to support timely resource-management decisions.
