Participants will first compete in an online ideation round, where they will analyze real-world problem statements, propose innovative solutions, and showcase their vision. The most promising teams will then advance to the offline finale, where they will transform their ideas into working products and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).

Whether you're passionate about Artificial Intelligence, Campus Innovation, Open Innovation, FinTech, Social Impact, or emerging technologies, Summer Of Codesfest 2.0 provides the perfect platform to collaborate, build, learn, and compete with some of the most talented minds in the ecosystem.

With mentorship opportunities, networking sessions, exciting challenges, and a prize pool of ₹40,000, this event aims to foster innovation while encouraging participants to solve meaningful problems through technology.

• Participants: Students, Developers, Designers, Innovators, and Tech Enthusiasts

• Team Size: Solo Participation or Teams

• Theme: Building Solutions That Create Real-World Impact

🏆 Event Structure

Round 1 – Ideathon (Online)

Participants register through the HackIndia platform and receive problem statements based on their chosen track.

Teams are required to submit a solution proposal and presentation outlining their approach, innovation, feasibility, and expected impact. This round serves as the qualifier for the final hackathon.

Steps to Participate

• Duration: 16 June – 18 July 2026

• Mode: Online

• Register for free on the HackIndia platform as an individual or team.

• The team leader is responsible for all communications.

• Once registered, the team leader (or solo participant) will receive an email from the GSoC Innovators' Club containing:

  • The problem statement

  • A Google Form for PPT submission

Both will be shared within 36 hours of registration.

Round 2 – Grand Hackathon Finale (Offline)

Qualified teams will compete in an intensive hackathon to build and demonstrate a functional MVP based on their proposed solution.

Projects will be evaluated on innovation, technical implementation, impact, usability, and presentation quality.

Participants will also engage in mini-challenges, networking sessions, mentor interactions, and final project demonstrations.

• Eligibility: Round 1 qualifiers only

• Offline Participation Fee: ₹99 per participant

• Participants from outside VIT Bhopal must arrange and bear their own travel and accommodation expenses.

• Virtual participation is available for ₹49 per participant.

• Virtual participants will receive digital goodies and remain fully eligible for prizes.
