Access to employment opportunities remains a challenge for many individuals from underserved and resource-constrained communities. Although digital platforms provide various job opportunities, many job seekers struggle to identify suitable jobs, understand job requirements, showcase their skills, and navigate online application processes. Limited digital literacy, language barriers, lack of career guidance, skill–job mismatches, and fragmented employment services can prevent capable individuals from accessing relevant opportunities. This creates a gap between available employment opportunities and the people who need them. Konoha Protocol is our proposed technology-driven solution to address this employment-access problem. The application aims to simplify job discovery, connect users with opportunities based on their skills and preferences, and provide guidance throughout the employment journey. Through this project, our team will demonstrate our ability to understand a real-world problem, identify its causes, design an innovative and practical solution, select appropriate technologies, and develop a feasible prototype within a limited hackathon timeframe. The proposed solution will focus on improving accessibility, usability, and relevance in employment services rather than attempting to solve unemployment as a whole.
