Problem Statement — DigiSlate 1. Because smart boards are expensive it is difficult to equip every classroom with interactive digital teaching facilities. 2. The classrooms currently have standard blackboards, projectors, laptops, and webcams, but these facilities are not being fully used for the purpose of interactive teaching. 3. Traditional boards do not have the facilities for digital writing, interaction based on gestures, or automatic capture of content. 4. Faculty should have a solution that enables them to interact with digital teaching material while remaining nearer to their students. 5. The current smart boards that operate using touch require special hardware and have to be installed, which increases the total cost.
