Niyam --> A Financial Firewall for AI Agents As AI agents begin performing real-world tasks, they may also initiate payments, subscriptions, reimbursements, or purchases. However, users currently lack a reliable way to control how much an agent can spend, where it can spend, and which transactions require approval. Niyam is a policy-driven financial firewall that gives every AI agent a programmable spending mandate. Before executing a transaction, Niyam evaluates its amount, recipient, purpose, risk level, and remaining budget. Safe transactions can proceed automatically, while unusual or high-value payments are paused for human approval. Every decision and transaction is recorded on-chain to create a transparent, tamper-resistant audit trail. The solution combines AI-based intent analysis, blockchain-enforced spending controls, and human oversight—allowing organizations to benefit from autonomous financial workflows without giving AI agents unrestricted control over money.
